What lucky news for Hackney residents! Sam & Sam Clark, the winning team behind the mighty ‘Moro’ have opened a new venue on the Hackney Road.

The Hackney Morito is the third restaurant following the team’s deliciously successful formula of Northern African, Turkish, Spanish and Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. With added influence from the isle of Crete where Head Chef Marianna Leivaditaki grew up and worked in the family’s fish restaurant, Moro’s unique gastronomic blend has proved a hit with Londoner’s so far, and Morito is here to carry the flame.

Alongside the amazing menu, Morito totally aced the interior. A central horseshoe-shaped, shiny marbled bar reflects a bright lighting design, white-orange-blue walls and the mirror-mosaic all add up to a highly original space to compliment the food.

Morito is a delight for all the senses, but there’s even more to come; this October Morito hosts the Seafood Festival for two weeks (16-30 October)!
