Self titled “neighbourhood bar and restaurant”, the Richmond has been unsurprisingly stylishly executed by the dream team that is Brett Redman

…the brains behind Elliot’s Café in Borough Market, and stylist Margaret Crow – things started off well for this understated and elegant restaurant.

The menu is made up of tasty dishes sourced and inspired locally. Raw sea food includes Scottish surf clams, Cornish mussels, Brixham Scallop: and that’s just one delicious and nutritious aspect of the menu. A selection of Longhorn beef cuts is available for those seeking some quality protein, and the crab muffin has reviewers clamouring for more.

And then there’s the Oyster bar, complete with Oyster Happy Hour every day of the week between 6 and 7pm. An East End tradition [along with smoked eel – another feature of the menu], The Richmond focuses on British culinary heritage and unpretentious tastiness. What’s not to love?!
