In the day Stage 3 is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of busy Mare Street. Their delicious Indonesian food is cooked by the mother and father of one of the owners, and you’ll always spot a familiar face once you’ve been in a few times. With floor to ceiling windows that look over Hackney town hall, it’s the ultimate east London community café, restaurant and bar.

During the day, you are welcome to enjoy a healthy lunch, freshly roasted coffee, or just grab a delicious sandwich to go. In the evening, the stage in this relaxed hotspot is host to a plethora of different live music performances, DJ sets and music nights, from jazz to funk to poetry to dance, they’ve got it all!
